Length of course: 4 day / 8 hr. per day (30 Credit)

This Scaffold Competent Person Course is intended for individuals designated as The Scaffold Competent Person, by their employer, to ensure scaffolds are erected properly and worked on safely. This course will cover the OSHA Scaffold Standards, and is designed to provide Students with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively understand scaffold hazards and how to mitigate them. Students will receive Certificates in City of Chicago Swing Stage, User/Erector/Dismantler, ANSI Aerial Work Platform, Articulating Booms and Scaffolding Competent Person.
The 32 hour course will include instruction on:
- Supported Scaffolding
- Scissor Lifts
- Suspended Scaffolding
- Articulating Boom Lifts
- Reading the CFR Scaffolding Regulations
