Thirty-nine painters and tapers completed safety and advanced skills training to qualify for
the 2007 STAR (Safety Training Awards Recognition) prize drawings at the Rosewood Restaurant
on October 6th. All received a valuable gift package and tool bag. Some won cash gift cards.
Others took home large-screen LCD televisions. Two landed vacation trips. One was given the
keys to a brand-new Ford pickup truck….
JATC Apprentice Training Coordinator Ed Bogdan, and JATC Committee Chairman Jeff Castles helped
conduct the proceedings at the October 6th STAR Awards Breakfast.
