Illinois Lead Worker (Safety)

There will be no on-line registration for this class. We need to have exact numbers. You must call 708/449-5282 x0 between the hours of 7:30am - 3:00pm to register.

The instructor will have the sign-in sheet prior to the start of class. If your name is not on it, you will be told to leave. You must pass this class in order to receive STAR credit.

A fluent comprehension of the English language is necessary for this class.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Purpose: This is an initial training course that qualifies the participant to apply for an Illinois state lead workers license.

The training covers the following topics, introduction to the dangers of lead, personal and environmental protective equipment, tools and equipment, job site safety, role of the inspector, project planning, clean-up and industrial abatement.

Length of course: 3 days / 24 hours. (25 Credits)

Card Expiration: this card does not have an expiration date but retraining is recommended a minimum of every 4 years.

Note: This class does NOT provide the new RRP Lead Certification training mandated by the National EPA.
