First - Aid CPR (Safety)
Purpose:
To give participants the knowledge and skills to recognize and provide basic care for injuries
and sudden illnesses including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
OSHA's subpart D 1936.50 states that the employer shall ensure the availability of prompt
medical attention when a hospital or physician are not readily available; A person with Red
Cross or equivalent training shall be available at the work site to render FIRST - AID or CPR.
Length of course: 1 day / 10 hours.
(5 Credits for CPR / 5 Credits for First Aid)
Note: You must stay for the entire class to get the full 10 credits.
