First - Aid CPR (Safety)Purpose: To give participants the knowledge and skills to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). OSHA's subpart D 1936.50 states that the employer shall ensure the availability of prompt medical attention when a hospital or physician are not readily available. A person with the American Heart Association or equivalent training shall be available at the work site to render FIRST - AID or CPR.
Length of course: 1 day / 10 hours.
