First - Aid CPR (Safety)

There will be no on-line registration for this class. We need to have exact numbers. You must call 708/449-5282 x0 between the hours of 7:30am - 3:00pm to register.

Purpose: To give participants the knowledge and skills to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

OSHA's subpart D 1936.50 states that the employer shall ensure the availability of prompt medical attention when a hospital or physician are not readily available. A person with the American Heart Association or equivalent training shall be available at the work site to render FIRST - AID or CPR.

Length of course: 1 day / 10 hours. (5 Credits for CPR / 5 Credits for First Aid)
Note: You must stay for the entire class to get the full 10 credits.
