Attention PDC14 Contractors:

Beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be EPA-certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Public Health and Safety, Inc. will be teaching the mandatory RRP training class at the Painters JATC Training Facility in Berkeley, IL on Tuesday, April 6 at 7:30 am. To be eligible to attend this class you must be a Signatory Contractor or a card-carrying Contractor of PDC14. Attendees will be required to bring a $200.00 Contractor check (no personal checks) made out to the Painters JATC. FCAC Contractor employees will receive a $100.00 reimbursement from the FCAC office, up to six rebates per FCAC company. Public Health and Safety, Inc. also provides one full year of free consultation, via phone and/or email, for all attendees.
